Sketching

All my work is based upon a vast amount of drawing and painting from direct observation. These life drawings are exercises and practice in an effort to understand structure form and movement. They are not very pretty and are very often a mess. However,they do occassionally provide material and ideas which are developed later in the printmaking process. Examples of these drawings can be seen in the gallery section.
