January 2nd. Mountain hares again

Don't know why I attempted to look for hares as despite the strong winter sun, it was blowing a gale and struggled to see any. Eventually found one sitting tight in a hollow in the hillside. The hare was of course very sheltered whilst I was getting the full force of the wind which kept blowing over my telescope and ruffling the pages of my sketchbook.
